Accordingly, Han Express formed an international-level logistics company specialized in dangerous goods in partnership with Japan's NRS and Kukdong MES, and quickly responded to domestic demand.
In 2012, the three companies Han Express, NRS, and Kukdong MES established a joint venture, “NRS-HANEX,” a specialized business for dangerous goods after two years of discussions starting with the agreement to conduct joint business in Korea. On the 25th, at The Plaza Hotel Orchid Room in Seoul, a contract signing ceremony was held for the establishment of a joint venture with representatives of the three companies.

The joint venture'NRS-HANEX', which will be established through this contract, is based on NRS's unrivaled ability to perform hazardous materials logistics in Japan, Han Express's know-how in Korea's strongest special cargo logistics operation, and Kukdong MES' special equipment operation capabilities Operates. 'NRS-HANEX' is determined to stand tall as a leading company in domestic dangerous goods transportation and specialized logistics business based on systematic risk management and execution at the international level. “NRS-HANEX” will be headed by Jun Yamanouchi of NRS and Hee-man Ahn of Han Express.
The newly established “NRS-HANEX” starts business in July. First, it plans to secure a main business site in Hwaseong and build a special center for hazardous substances near Pyeongtaek Port in 2015. It plans to make the most of the strengths of each of the three companies that have the logistics know-how and logistics network for hazardous materials. It will provide overall logistics services for logistics SCM (supply chain management) such as dangerous goods warehouse, transport, import and export customs clearance, and special services for hazardous materials such as handling and storage of special gases and logistics between Korea, China and Japan.
