Q: Please briefly introduce yourself
A: Hello everyone! I am Jackie from JJ MES Shanghai office. Our office is located in Shanghai, the economic, trade, and shipping center of China, mainly responsible for the buying and selling of new and old containers, one-way leasing, as well as long-term and short-term leasing services. Our business covers important port cities in East China, including Shanghai and Ningbo, as well as some inland areas.
Q: What are the business advantages of JJ MES in the East China region?
A: In the East China region, our business relies on the hub position of Shanghai and Ningbo ports, prioritizing container sources and service guarantees, continuously optimizing our marketing system and network layout, and steadily increasing our market influence and competitiveness. In recent years, we have also actively explored emerging inland markets such as Yiwu, Hefei, and Nanjing to better respond to the diverse needs of our customers. At the same time, we offer a variety of container pickup locations to support customers' self pickup or delivery services, allowing customers to arrange the use of containers more flexibly.
Q: Which countries and regions are the main targets of container exports in East China?
A: Our container network is extensive. In addition to serving the Central Asian region along the the Belt and Road, it also covers major logistics hubs in Russia and Europe, such as Malashevich, Duisburg, etc., mainly through railway transportation. In addition, to meet our customers' shipping needs, we have also start export routes to the West Coast of the United States, including Los Angeles and Dallas, ensuring that our global customers enjoy our high-quality service network support.
Q: What are the long-term plans for the business of the Shanghai office in the future?
A: At present, we mainly focus on container trading and one-way leasing services, and have accumulated a good reputation in the market. In the future, we plan to increase the promotion of long-term leasing services while retaining our existing business, and at the same time explore the reefer containers market to better meet the diverse needs of different industries. We will continue to monitor market trends, maintain business flexibility and innovation, and strive to achieve greater development.
Q: What is included in the after-sales service of JJ MES's container business?
A: We attach great importance to the customer's experience after purchasing containers, especially in terms of container condition. Customers often hope to purchase containers in good condition to ensure transportation safety. If any issues such as light or water leakage are found during container pickup, we will immediately contact the yard for replacement. We are committed to building a comprehensive after-sales service system, maintaining good communication with customers, ensuring timely response to their needs, and continuously improving our service quality.
Q: Is there anything that left the deepest impression on you in container trade?
A: The most impressive experience for me was from the beginning of this year to April and May, when China was in a shortage of container resources. Due to the limited number of containers returned by shipping companies, container prices increased, while customer demand remained strong. In order to meet the container needs of our customers, we have actively searched for container source channels during this period, striving to provide stable container supply services to our customers. This is also the best manifestation of our commitment to our customers.
Q: Which chess piece do you like the most in Chinese Go?
A: In Chinese Go, my favorite piece is “Go” themselves, which is the basic unit of Go. Each chess piece in Go is small but indispensable, playing their respective roles and complementing each other, ultimately forming a game of victory or defeat. This role is very similar to the concept of container sales: containers are also insignificant small links in the supply chain, but they are an irreplaceable core part of the transportation system.
